Yoruba School Australia was founded by Wole and Seyi Akosile to make the Yoruba language and culture accessible, fun, and engaging for families in the diaspora. Like many parents, they saw how challenging it was to pass on the Yoruba language and culture to their children, and they created a school that bridges that gap.
What started with just three students has grown into six thriving classes with learners from nearly 10 countries worldwide.
Today, we are proud to be recognised as a leading charity and the best Yoruba language and culture school worldwide, with countless success stories of students learning to speak, sing, and celebrate their heritage with confidence.
At Yoruba School Australia, we are more than a school – we are a community dedicated to keeping the Yoruba language and culture alive for future generations.
